Denver has over 20 years of experience in the real estate development, construction, and energy industry. He has started, built, and sold several companies in the construction and energy space. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), is currently enrolled in the executive M.B.A. program at Harvard Business School, is a board member of Family I.D. and leads the legacy team at the OKC campus of Life.Church.
DeMarcus is an internationally certified safety and risk management professional accredited by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He has over a decade of experience in the construction and energy sectors with an emphasis on cultural impact and risk management.
Real Estate Team
Bobby Snyder is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of building experience. He works collaboratively with the preconstruction and project teams to support the development of cost models, site phasing plans, design options, and project delivery. Bobby also oversees the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System for the organization.
Prior to joining Ashton Gray, Cassidy worked for five years in assurance services at a top rated accounting firm mainly focusing on the healthcare industry. She joined Ashton Gray at the end of 2019 to lead real estate development accounting and continues to strive to make positive changes that ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the accounting department and the company, including matters involving accounting procedures, financial reporting, and company culture. She has been a CPA since 2016 and is an active member in OSCPA, AICPA, and CFMA to stay involved and up-to-date in our ever-changing environment.
Trevor has successful and demonstrated experience in architecture, real estate development and management, and construction management over the last 20 years. As a 3rd generation real estate professional, Trevor’s passion is in development.>
Nicholas (Nick) Austin, President and Partner of Ashton Gray Energy, has over 20 years of experience in energy, construction and client services organizations. He started his career as an attorney representing large public and private entities in a variety of transactions and disputes, focusing the second half of his legal career on construction matters. Mr. Austin then transitioned to the energy sector, where over the course of a 14-year career, he held various operational and leadership positions with a publicly traded Midwest electric. While there, he successfully stood up multiple large-scale capital portfolios, safely lead numerous operational divisions, and eventually finished his career as a utility President. Mr. Austin leads the pipeline and integrity, infrastructure, and renewable energy divisions under Ashton Gray Energy.
Bryce Buergin, VP Director of Infrastructure, has over 21 years of experience in infrastructure and land development. Bryce has managed many large scale projects across the Midwest for BNSF Railroad, Wal-Mart, Oklahoma and Arkansas Department of Transportation, several school projects, 500,000 square foot and larger distribution centers, water treatment facilities and much more. One of Bryce’s many strengths is that he spent a number of years working in the field as an equipment operator, superintendent, estimator, and equipment manager. This experience makes him a well-rounded leader for Ashton Gray’s Infrastructure division. Bryce currently serves as the President of Columbus, Kansas Land Bank and spends his free time volunteering with several organizations in Columbus, Kansas.
Jason Summers, Director of Pipeline Integrity, has over 15 years of experience in pipeline construction, maintenance, and integrity. He has completed multiple large-scale projects from metropolitan areas to rural locations, while scaling from a single crew to over 1,500 employees on a single project. Jason specialized in multi state Anomaly Dig, and ILI Smart Tool programs, cross country transmission pipelines, and has vast experience in steep slope work. He has completed projects on multiple continents while maintaining a high level of leadership, deadline management, while increasing overall production performance. Jason maintains that the most important component in his career is his relationship with his customers and its his priority from start to finish.
Chad has 20 years of experience in pipeline and facility construction. He has served the industry as welder/fabricator to superintendent, to chief inspector of pipeline and facilities, and to construction manager of pipeline and facilities. In his down time, he enjoys hunting, camping, and golf.
Scott has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He was pipeline/fabrication welder for 15 years before transitioning into operations and later into project management. Scott’s knowledge in oil & gas construction is important for his position, you must know the work before you can sell and manage it. In his down time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf. Scott is passionate about baseball and spends a great deal of his personal time with his sons traveling to baseball tournaments. His oldest son recently was selected to play in the NTIS for the USA Team in Cary, NC.
Zach accumulated six-years of experience in assurance services at a leading accounting firm prior to joining Ashton Gray, including exposure the various industries of construction, oil & gas, real estate management, and banking. Outside of the standard responsibilities of the position, his attention is largely focused on optimizing the accounting, project management, and company oversight functions through deployment of new and existing technologies. He is also an active member in CFMA, AICPA, and OSCPA to collaborate with other professionals in the industry ecosystem.
