Meet The Team
The Ashton Gray team is a full-service provider in construction and real estate. We deliver turn-key construction and real estate development projects from start to finish.
Denver Green has over 20 years of experience in the real estate development, construction, and energy industry. He has started, built, and sold several companies in the construction and energy space. Ashton Gray was founded in 2018 by Denver and his partner, Jason Nowell. Together they built and stabilized a medical-centric real estate portfolio in excess of $210M. Denver is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), currently enrolled in the executive M.B.A. program at Harvard Business School, a board member of Family I.D., and leads the legacy team at the OKC campus of Life Church.

Jason Nowell has over 25 years of experience in the construction, real estate development and energy industry. An entrepreneur at his core he has started, built, and sold several companies in the construction and energy sector. He began his development career at Hillwood, A Perot Company, Jason oversaw the development, design, and construction of over $500 million in projects within the Alliance, TX development. After Hillwood, he served as the National Director of Operations for Flynn Companies, a multi-national full-service building contractor. With Flynn, Jason lead and participated in a number of mergers and acquisitions. He exited Flynn to pursue a career as an entrepreneur, starting first as the owner and operator of iCrete, a lightweight concrete installer in South Florida. After a successful and profitable exit from iCrete, Jason co-founded and served in a Chief Operations Officer role with Lagoon Water Solutions. After another profitable exit, Jason and Denver Green formed Ashton Gray. Starting from scratch, Jason, acting again in a President C.O.O. role, built and established a real estate development portfolio in excess of $210M. Jason holds a general contractor license in 17 states and serves as the chairman of the board for Family I.D.

Bobby Snyder is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of building experience. He works collaboratively with the preconstruction and project teams to support the development of cost models, site phasing plans, design options, and project delivery. Bobby also oversees the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System for the organization.

Prior to joining Ashton Gray, Ben spent the past decade as an attorney and partner with Hartzog Conger Cason, LLP, and Crowe & Dunlevy, PC. He is licensed in both Oklahoma and Texas. His extensive experience includes representing both private businesses and institutional lenders in all areas of real estate acquisition, finance, development, leasing, and sale of commercial properties, ranging from single-tenant projects up to multistate portfolios in excess of $500M. His experience also includes serving as transaction counsel to certain private equity firms in various mergers and acquisitions and the secured financing related thereto. He received a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a B.S. in Agricultural Economics and Accounting from Oklahoma State University. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.

John has an extensive track record in corporate expansions, private and public equity and debt capital financings, restructuring and financial reporting.
Prior to joining Ashton Gray, John was Chief Financial Officer of Black Oak Partners, a privately held, family office investment firm, and Tapstone Energy, a GSO/Blackstone-backed energy exploration and production company. John also previously led the investor relations efforts for energy companies Chesapeake Energy, Continental Resources and Kerr-McGee Corporation.
John earned an MBA from Oklahoma City University and a BS in Finance from Oklahoma State University. John currently serves on the President Council for OSU – OKC

Cassidy Hedrick brings several years of experience working in assurance services at a top-rated accounting firm focused on healthcare. She has experience in both for-profit and governmental healthcare facilities around the nation. Her assurance clients ranged from $10M-$1.4B in annual net revenue. Cassidy joined Ashton Gray at the end of 2019 to lead real estate development accounting. She strives to make positive changes that ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the accounting department and the company, including matters involving accounting procedures, financial reporting, and company culture. She has been a CPA since 2016 and is an active member in OSCPA, AICPA, and CFMA to stay involved and up-to-date in our ever-changing environment.
Jenna Adkins has over 10 years of experience in land brokerage and development. Prior to joining Ashton Gray, she worked for a top land brokerage in Las Vegas and Southern California securing land for some of the country’s largest home builders, private investors, and family offices.

Brandon Cheney has deep roots in the construction industry. He is the third generation in his family to choose construction as a career. Brandon began his career in 1997 as a laborer and recently celebrated 25 years in the industry. Brandon holds a degree from Oklahoma State University in Construction Management. He has experience on projects ranging from $1M to $36M with an emphasis on healthcare, correctional, nonprofit, retail, educational, government, senior living, multifamily, leisure and entertainment. Brandon has completed the FMI Project Management Academy and Construction Executive Program. In 2018 he was named the AGC Project Manager of the Year and also the ASA Project Manager of the Year. He is a recipient of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering Construction Certificate Program. Brandon was a member of the City of Jones Small Business Group from 2017 – 2018. Brandon and his wife have three daughters who keep them busy with softball, gymnastics and enjoy all things outdoors especially rock crawling in their family Jeep.

Trevor has successful and demonstrated experience in architecture, real estate development and management, and construction management over the last 20 years. As a 3rd generation real estate professional, Trevor’s passion is in development.>

Cole has 5 years of experience in commercial real estate. He spent his first 3 years in a junior broker role shadowing seasoned brokers and assisting in retail, office, and light industrial leasing and sales throughout the Oklahoma City metro. Cole joined Ashton Gray in 2021 focused on retail and medical office development and project leasing. Since 2021, Cole has leased 95,000 square feet of retail and medical office space throughout Oklahoma and Texas. Cole is currently a member of ICSC.

With ownership and development experience in several Oklahoma restaurants and experience in design and location selection for a grocery store chain, Brad brings to the table the extensive experience from the perspective of the tenant and operator. His career began with a technical role in database management and GIS for natural resources companies, and that experience now drives a technical and detail-oriented approach to planning and developing layouts for operating businesses. Brad also co-owns and operates Kingdom Water; a non-profit focused on clean water solutions in areas of Kenya and Papua New Guinea.

Scott has over 22 years of experience in real estate finance, investment and development within organizations ranging from large, national banks to VC-backed startups. He has a lengthy track record in growth and business development, with expertise in market expansion, strategic growth operations and process management.
Prior to joining Ashton Gray, Scott was managing partner in a regional real estate investment and acquisitions firm and currently holds personal real estate investments in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa markets. He has also served as the Director of Acquisitions at PadSplit, a real estate investment fund and prop-tech company within the co-living space as well as Vice President and Regional Manager for both Ally Bank and BOK Financial, where he ran regional aggregation for the firms’ mortgage-backed securities divisions.

Chad Arnold has over 6 years of commercial development experience, along with a background in corporate finance. Chad has an extensive track record in landlord & tenant work, as well as a background in franchising.
Prior to joining Ashton Gray, Chad was the Director of Real Estate at McGee Commercial Real Estate, a privately held, boutique development company in Yukon, OK.
Chad earned a BBA from Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, OK.

Colby Nicholson brings a decade of experience in accounting and finance to Ashton Gray. Before joining Ashton Gray, Colby most recently served as the Director of Finance for Life Plus, an education services company that operates in China and the Middle East. Colby also previously spent 5 years in the oil & gas industry after spending the first few years of his career in public accounting in Grant Thornton’s audit practice.
